The Best Veggies to BBQ

Grilling vegetables are pretty straight forward. All you need to know to perfect them are the tips and tricks nobody has ever told you.

Grilled Vegetables

Ingredients

  • Whatever veggies you prefer (we went with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, zucchinis, and squashes) but we do recommend a variety of combinations below
  • Loubier Gourmet Italian Topper Seasoning
  • Loubier Gourmet Hot or Mild Chipotle Seasoning
  • Oil (Olive, Avocado, etc.)
  • Lemon/Lime Juice
  • Butter
  • Balsamic Vinegar

Tips and Tricks

Your grilled veggie combo will only be as good as the veggies, so go for quality, and for what's in-season. Furthermore, a powerful marinade or seasoning goes a long way. Here are a couple of our favorite mixtures. And don't forget you can marinade your veggies for an entire day (min 15 minutes) for maximum flavor.

Corn on a Cob: Avocado Oil, Lime Juice, Loubier Gourmet Hot or Mild Chipotle Seasoning
Zucchini: Grapeseed Oil, Lemon Juice, Loubier Gourmet Italian Topper
Eggplant: Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Loubier Gourmet Italian Topper
Assorted Veggies in Aluminum Foil (Onion, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Etc.): Butter, Loubier Gourmet Italian Topper

Our go-to is an assortment of vegetables because it has the most variety and it includes all our favorite veggies. Like I mentioned above, we go with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, zucchinis, and squashes; all cut up and double wrapped in aluminum foil with butter and Loubier Gourmet Italian Topper. We leave them on the grill, at first over a direct fire and then in a cooler spot where it can indirectly cook for a good 20-30 minutes or until the preferred texture is attained. To check, stick a fork into your aluminum foil, you'll instantly notice how hard or soft the veggies are!
